The Metric Anomalies page should help you quickly find metrics and alert you to metrics that need attention.
How to Navigate to Metric Anomalies
- Select Insights from the left-hand navigation panel.
- Click Metric Insights.
- Select Anomalies.
How to Use the Metric Anomalies
The Metric Scorecard is divided into three columns,
- Search Metrics
- Biggest Movers
- Anomalies
In the Search Metrics column, you may type in your metric of interest. As you type, matching metrics will be presented.
- Click on the star icon to favorite any metric in any three columns. Once clicked, it will turn blue.
Once favorited, they will appear on your myDNA page, the default EDITED Digital/Omni homepage.
The Biggest Movers column identifies the top eight metric movers compared to Period B, measured by absolute percentage change.
- Click the settings icon to narrow down the metrics.
- For example, selecting Product Metrics will highlight the biggest moving metrics from a product-specific perspective.
The Anomalies column identifies the top five metric movers compared to the average of the last 13 Periods. It excludes any metrics that surfaced in the Biggest Movers module. The dotted line in the chart represents the 13 Period Average.
- Click the settings icon to narrow down the metrics. For example, you can select Product Metrics to highlight the biggest moving metrics from a product-specific perspective.
Hovering over any metric will display three icons in a grey box.
The first icon will take you to a Quick View of the metric showing;
- The metric's absolute value and percentage change vs Last Year and Target.
- The trend of performance of this metric.
- The positive and negative drivers of the metrics performance.
The second icon will take you to a Metric Detail view, which will help you understand metric performance, drivers, distributions, and opportunities.

The third icon will show you the definition of the metric itself and the data sources from which it was pulled.
