Where Does EDITED’s Data Come From?
EDITED’s Retail Intelligence Platform is powered by three key data sets:
- Competitor (Market)
- Company (Enterprise)
- Customer (Enterprise)
Competitor data is market data we collect from third-party retailers' websites. EDITED uses trackers to search for individual products across these retailer websites, tracking over 5+ billion SKUs globally.
Our Market data enables users to analyze their competition effectively. Our trackers collect individual product information from your competitors’ websites, such as product name, current and previous prices, category, color, stock status, product description, and care and composition.
We consider company and customer data Enterprise data. With over 100 pre-built collectors, we can collect data from your organization, such as product, transaction, web analytics, inventory, cost, and customer data. Adding Enterprise data allows you to contextualize your business’s performance within the market.
Watch the video below to learn more about how EDITED’s three data sources come together to support you throughout the entire product lifecycle.
