Tutorial: How Do I Read Transactional Metrics In Basket Heatmaps?
This tutorial is interactive. To move to the next step, please follow the prompts showing you where to click, or use the < and > arrows along the bottom.
6 STEPS
1. In this tutorial you will learn how to read transactional metrics in your Basket Reports.
2. Let's explore Men's Accessories to gain insights into the performance of this category.
In this example, we will analyze two key transactional metrics: Single Item Orders and Single Affinity Orders.
3. The Single Item Order tells us that 4.38% of orders included one accessories product/item.
4. And the Single Affinity Order tells us that 5.47% included the accessories category.
5. This means that over 94.53% of the time, orders including accessories include other categories.
6. This category can then be deemed as 'effective' as it's more often than not included in an order where multiple items/categories are purchased.
You can now continue to the next section of this course.
