Tutorial: How Do I Read The Data In The Side Panel In Overlay?

18 STEPS

1. In this tutorial you will learn how to access and read further metric details on a product.

2. Click the arrow (>) beside the Franco Sarto Bags & Purses.

3. You will now be able to view the product in more detail. The top section of the panel displays information such as the Product ID, Name, Department, and Category Hierarchy.

4. Badges associated with this product will also feature, hover over them to learn what Actions or insights to take.

5. By default you will be viewing the Metrics tab.

6. From here you will be able view additional metrics to the ones Overlaid on your webpage.

7. Click create an Alert to create an Metric alert in this example it would be a Metric Alert for Product Views.

All alerts will be set up and managed within EDITED Omni.

8. Each metric displays the performance value or percentage, a trend line, and a comparison pill, in this example, Peer Percentile.

We can quickly see that this product is performing well in terms of product views compared to its peers this week.

9. Click the dropdown arrow beside the Product Views metric for a more detailed view of the trend line.

10. Here, we get a quick read of Franco Sarto's Bags & Purses product performance over the past 8 weeks. For example, a spike in performance this week may be due to the product being boosted higher on the page compared to the previous week.

11. Hover over the 'I' icon to get a definition of the metric you want to analyze.

12. Click the upwards arrow (^) to contact the Product View metric information.

13. Click the Analysis Tab.

14. You can toggle between EDITED/ Digital Ombi, EDITED Market & External links, this is where all bookmarks and external links can be found.

16. Click Action Impact

17. Action Impact is intended to measure the difference in profit or sales over what would have occurred if an action had not been executed.

18. Click Back to Products found on Page to return to the main side panel view.
