Tutorial: How Do I Create My Own Pricing Rules Recipe? (Signal)

16 STEPS
1. In this tutorial you will learn how to create your own Recipe.
2. Click Create Recipe to get started.
3. Click Price.
4. Instead of using Recipe Templates, we will now create our own Recipe using the fields required.
The required fields will be highlighted in red.
Type Discount Stock in the Recipe Name field.
5. Next type the name of your first rule.
i.e full price no sales.
6. IF is the first metric you will need to add.
In this example let's select a product category i.e Menswear.
You could however use a metric instead i.e inventory value > 0.
7. Click +Add Field to add in more rules.
When adding rules, think of what criteria you need to segment certain products.
8. In this example we shall be using metrics to isolate products that are full price but haven't had any sales in the last 4 weeks.
9. Price Recipe metrics can also be configured to be based on a calculation.
Click +Add Item
10. Using the metric calculator you can begin to add Basic Operators, Values and Metrics.
Within the Metrics field, type Cost Of Goods Sold.

11. The Cost of Goods Sold has been populated.
12. Click +Add Item to continue to add to your formula if you wish.
13. To delete from your formula select the trash icon beside your metric.
14. Once you are happy with your formula you can save your recipe.
15. Click Preview to review your recipe and adjust the rules if needed.
16. Once you're satisfied with your recipe, click Save Recipe. You'll then be able to access it anytime from the main Landing Page.
