Tutorial: How Do I Use Market Workbooks Status Date Filter?
This tutorial is interactive. To move to the next step, please follow the prompts showing you where to click, or use the < and > arrows along the bottom.
19 STEPS
1. This guide will teach you how to use date filters within Price & Status.
2. You can find the Status filter within the Price & Status filter.
Here you will be given the option to filter your products by when they were in stock, new in, first sold out, had a first majority sell out or were first discounted.
3. Click Price & Status.
4. Click Status.
5. For this tutorial we are going to select New in.
6. Click New in.
7. The process to add all Status options is the same and will click through to a date selector.
You will have a choice of timescales to analyze like Past week, or use the calendar to select a Custom Range.
8. Click Past month.
9. Your workbook will now filter on products that were first tracked by EDITED during the past month.
10. Click Custom Range.
11. You can now select your custom range by clicking a start and end date in the calendar.
Let's try adding the last two weeks.
12. Click April 30th.
13. Click April 16th.
14. To navigate to previous months and years, use the arrows located either side of the month and year.
15. Click Add.
16. You will now see your chosen dates appear in the filter panel.
You can add multiple Status filters, but both conditions would need to apply to a product for it to show within your workbook.
17. For this example, New in and First Discounted filters are added to view products that were first tracked by EDITED between 16th - 30th April that also received a first discount during the same time period.
This is a good indicator of poor performers.
18. This example works together with the calendar icon.
Selecting both Out of stock and In stock Today, will show you the products New in and First Discounted between the selected dates that are currently in stock and those that have gone out of stock.
19. This tutorial is now complete.
