Overlay: How Do I Customize Metrics?

Clicking Overlay from the Gear icon will allow you to customize the four metrics visible on your webpage.

 

 

What Is A Metric Preset?

 

Metric presets are curated configurations designed for different roles and analytical needs, such as those of merchants. When you select a preset, the metrics displayed will automatically update to reflect the most relevant insights for that focus area.

 

  • Select Custom to add your own metrics to the Primary and Secondary fields.

What Is A Primary Metric? 

 

Your Primary Metric is the key performance indicator that matters most to you — based on your role and business priorities.

 

  • Choose from over 200 KPIs in the dropdown menu to tailor your view and keep your most critical metric front and center.

 

 

What Is A Secondary Metric?

 

Secondary Metrics are additional KPIs that support your analysis alongside your Primary Metric.

  • While a metric preset will pre-define these for you, you can easily customize them by clicking + Add to include new metrics or the ‘X’ to remove any you don’t need.

 

 

 

Customizing Product Metrics

 

You can change the metrics that populate in your side panel when looking at individual products by selecting Metrics from the Gear icon.

 

Metric Presets allows you to switch between curated metric configurations, each designed around specific analysis themes. For example, metrics related to Demand & Inventory.

  • Select Custom from the Metric Preset to add your own metrics.
