Once you’ve clicked Conversion Decision Tree within Site Merchandising, you’ll be taken to Product Decision Trees, Conversion within EDITED Omni. Here you can quickly identify what products are and aren't converting, allowing you to take targeted actions to improve performance.
By default, you will be viewing the Conversion Metric, which highlights converting and non-converting products over your selected time period.
Your assortment will be grouped under the corresponding nodes based on their performance against this metric.
How Do I View And Read A Product Metric In More Detail?
Click on a node to explore the products within the product metric in more detail.
- In this example, clicking on the Converting node will take you to a table view that includes your product and units sold data as shown in the GIF.
Within the table view, the metric Units Sold (A) (Peer PCNTL) scores each product against its peers within their related category, quickly assessing performance based on units sold.
The scoring is color-coded, Green for top performers, Amber for mid-range, and Red for poor performers, allowing for a quick visual assessment of product performance.
You can hover over the score to see a scale of where the selected product sits amongst its peers in terms of units sold.
How Can I Customize My View?
Click Edit Grid to further customize your Decision Tree by adjusting the Product Level, Metrics Display Name, and Compare options.

Within your Settings you also have the option to Display Heatmaps Metrics.

A product scale on the left side of the page relates to the heatmaps. The darker the blue, the greater the number of products that fall within the selected metric.
Click Edit Grid in the table view to add additional metrics, apply filters, and adjust the sort order of metrics, as shown in the GIF.
At the bottom of your Settings page, you can further customize your table view by keeping the total row visible at the top or loading only new items.
Clicking the dropdown will give you three sizing options for your table view. By Default, your table will be set to Medium.
How Do I Change The Metric In My Decision Tree?
The are 12 metrics you can select within decision trees:

- Conversion
- Selling
- Inventory
- Profit
- Views

- Returns & Cancellations
- Category Range
- Marketing

All nodes in the Decision Tree will be open so you can explore sub-sections within the Opportunity.
- Click the - on a node to collapse a sub-section. This is useful if you want to focus on a single opportunity at a time, such as Converting Products.
