myEDITED: How Do I Read A Price Adjustment Opportunity?
Once your Opportunity has been processed and you click on it, you will land on the Opportunity summary page.
On the summary page, products are bucketed into the following Opportunities:
- Increase: Products to consider for a price increase to drive profit
- Decrease: Products to consider for a price decrease to drive revenue and clear inventory
You have one summary card for each of your Increase and Decrease Opportunities.
The summary card includes:
- A category table of increase/decrease products.
- Preview images of the increase/decrease products.
- Total number of products to consider for a price increase/decrease action.
Complete the interactive tutorial below to learn how to navigate through the Opportunity summary page.
12 STEPS
1. This tutorial will teach you how to read and use the Opportunity: Price Adjustment summary page.
2. You will see a Decrease Opportunity which highlights products that are poor performing within your assortment and are priced higher than your competitors.
3. Below is your Increase Opportunity. This highlights products that are strong performing within your assortment and are priced lower compared to your competitors.
4. Within each Increase and Decrease Opportunity will be a product summary card.
5. The category table shows the products suitable for a price Increase or Decrease.
With the Dresses filter applied, the table will show any subcategories relevant, even if they weren't selected in the Opportunity set up.
6. If you select specific subcategories, then only these will be considered in your category table.
7. The Decrease category table features three columns, Product Count, Discount % and the Current Price Match % Difference, which is the percentage difference between your option's price and the average price of the competitor matched options.
8. This Decrease category table shows that four Bodycon dresses have been identified for a price decrease, These four dresses have an average discount of 3.75% and are priced on average 15.80% higher than competitors.
9. The Increase category table replaces the Discount % column with SKU sellout %.
A high SKU sellout % is a good indicator of strong performance.
10. To the right of the summary card is the a preview of the products identified for a price Increase or Decrease.
11. Hover for more information on the product.
12. The bottom right of the summary card states the total number of products and categories found in the Opportunity.
