myEDITED: How Do I Generate Quick Dashboard Insights Using AI Summary?

AI Summary uses an LLM (large language model) to generate insights from your myEDITED dashboards, summarizing key insights from each widget at the click of a button.

Once you have created a myEDITED dashboard, simply click the Insights button at the top right of your dashboard.

A panel will populate at the side of your dashboard containing insights from your widgets.

Depending on the number of widgets in your dashboard, you may need to scroll the Insights panel to view the full summary.

myEDITED AI Summary is currently only available for Market widgets because Market widgets use public data, which EDITED runs through a third-party LLM.

In the future, it may be possible to generate AI summaries for Enterprise Data. Since EDITED does not own the Enterprise Data, we will require explicit permission from Enterprise customers to use their data in this manner. If you are interested in learning more about generating Enterprise Insights using EDITED's AI Summary, please contact support at support@edited.com or reach out to your account manager.

To see the widget referenced within the Insights, click Go to widget at the end of each Key point. This will take you directly to the most relevant widget per point.

To close the Insights panel, click either the X at the top right of the panel or the Close button.

Product card widgets are not included in the AI Summary Insights.

Sharing AI Summary Insights

You can print or print to PDF to share insights with your team.

Ensure the Insights panel is open on your screen.
Select Print to PDF from the three-dot menu.

How Are AI Summary Insights Generated?

EDITED leverages a Large Language Model (LLM) to feed numeric data behind specific myEDITED widgets. Widgets are analyzed individually to identify what we believe to be the most significant difference in each Market widget. This is then formatted into a descriptive paragraph or insight that describes the chart, table, or graph from the widget itself.
