10 STEPS
1. In this tutorial you will learn how to interpret data in Basket Heatmaps.
2. For this example, we'll examine the Overlapping Orders between Men's Sweaters and Trousers.
Click on the blue tile to get started.
3. After clicking the blue tile, a pop-up will appear displaying data on the two product categories you selected.
4. In this example, we can see that 1,036 Men's Trousers and 1,483 Men's Sweaters were purchased during the selected time frame.
5. You'll also see a visual representation of how these categories overlap in orders.
6. Now, let's explore what this means in terms of overlapping orders.
7. When reading Overlapping Purchase Orders, we can see that 279 products were purchased from both Men's Trousers and Men's Sweaters.
8. This means that 26.93% of Men's Trousers orders also included at least one Men's Sweater.
9. Now, let's examine the increased likelihood of a customer purchasing Men's Trousers along with a Sweater. Based on EDITED's calculations, Men's Sweaters are 1.36x more likely to be purchased in a Men's Trousers order compared to the average order.
