Market: How Do I Use The Specialities > Size & Shape Filter?

The size and shape filters within Specialties let you choose whether to include, exclude, or analyze only Plus, Petite, or Tall brands.

  • By default, specialty size & shape brands are included in your workbook.
  • Clicking on Exclude will remove plus, petite, or tall brands from your workbook.
  • Clicking on Only will mean that your workbook only includes either plus, petite, or tall brands.
  • Once you have selected your brand choice, click Close at the top right to close the filter panel.

If you were to include Only Plus Size, your workbook would return products from a plus-size specialty brand, such as Shein Curve + Plus

The Plus Size filter will not return plus-size SKUs for products that are not by a specialty plus-size brand. For example, a main collection product that also offers plus-size SKUs would not be included in your results when using the Specialities > Size & Shape filter.

If you want to analyze a wider assortment of plus-size products (i.e., main collection products that also have plus-size offerings), we recommend utilizing the keywords filter.

To do this, refine your criteria by including plus size terminology, such as plus or curve, that retailers may use to describe the product in the Name, Description & Care details that are tracked by EDITED. Knowledge of your market and competitive set are key here as these terms can differ across retailers and regions. The same applies to tall and petite fits.

The Ages and Sizes filter can be used to analyze specific product sizes rather than specialty brands. Read Market: How Do I Use The Ages & Sizes Filters?
