What is Retailing Profit in EDITED Digital/Omni, and how is it calculated?
Retailing Profit is the total profit during analysis period calculated as: Product Profit + Shipping Profit − Other Offer Costs - Marketing Costs.
Within the application, the Profit Trees explain Retailing Profit through the tree structure.
Note: Product Profit is typically the cash margin for each product taking into account the cost and sell price. The Shipping Profit is the difference between the price the customer paid for shipping (often free) and the cost of shipping this to the customer (carrier costs).
