Digital/Omni: How Do I Use Operations Opportunities?

Operations Opportunities is one of the six types of Decision Trees and is available in the Web and Omni instances.

 

There are three different operation opportunity types.

  • Shipping Status: Track the impact of shipping status, including the number of orders unshipped, partially shipped or shipped. (Web and Omni)
  • Shipping Timing: Identify orders that Shipped Late or On Time. (Web and Omni)
  • Shipping Profit: Identify orders with High, Moderate, Low, and Negative Shipping Profit. (Web and Omni)

 

Click the Tree icon at the top right to select the Opportunity type.

 

 

You can also use  the title dropdown arrow to; 

  • Select one of three Operation Opportunity types: Shipping Status, Shipping Timing, and Shipping Profit.

 

 

How to Use the Operations  Opportunities Chart

Once you click on the tree icon, you are presented with an overview page formatted as a flow chart. 

The box at the top of the flow chart summarizes Orders' overall number/value. Use Settings to change the metric as needed.

 



  • Click the + icon at the bottom right of the box to explore any sub-section and navigate to specific opportunities.

 

Clicking Unshipped Orders would take you to a list of further sub-sections, eg. No Stock.

How to Use the Operations Opportunities Summary Page

Click on any sub-section to analyze an overview of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the data behind it. In this example, the orders were Unshipped due to No Stock.

You will be taken to a summary page divided into the following three sections.

 

Topline Statistics:

  • Percentage of Orders (last 90 days) that were Unshipped due to No Stock compared to total orders. You can then Preview, Download and Schedule API Exports of this data.
  • Value of metrics, e.g Sales associated to the orders that were Unshipped due to No Stock

 

Change the metric as required via the dropdown.

 

Action Candidates: an EDITED recommendation for what action should be taken on the products that were Unshipped due to No stock. In this example, the action would be transferring stock or canceling orders. 

 

 

Key Performance Indicators: default key metrics associated to these orders that have been Unshipped due to No Stock to give further context on the average value or profit of these orders.

 

You can favorite this view by clicking the star icon next to the summary page title. Once favorited the star icon will turn blue. This favorited page will appear on your myDNA homepage.
