You can create your own Insight Badge based on a business question or challenge and criteria.
- Click Manage Badges
You can then either;
- Select Create Badge to create a new badge.
- Or copy an existing badge by selecting the checkbox next to the appropriate badge and then clicking Copy. EDITED recommends this option for speed to insight.
To create and customize a badge, you will need to complete the below steps.
- Active: Toggle on for the Action badge to automatically appear on the Action Badge landing page.
- Channel: Select Web, Store, or Omni from the dropdown menu.
- Name: Type the name of the badge.
- Select an appropriate Icon for the badge.
- Select an appropriate Color for the badge.
Finally, amend the current or set new Criteria for the badge.
- First Dropdown: Select fields or metrics, e.g., Department or Product Conversion.
- Second Dropdown: Select the rule.
- If you select a field like Department, the rules will consist of options such as Is, Is not, Contains, etc.
- If you select a metric like Product Conversion, the rules will consist of options such as less than, more than, equal to, etc.
- Third text box: add specific criteria that you want to apply.
- For a field-like department, this could be Dresses.
- For a metric like Product conversion this could be a numerical target like 50.
- Use the first dropdown to select fields or metrics, e.g., Department or Product Conversion.
- Select the rule.
- Add multiple AND criteria by clicking +Add Field.
- Add multiple OR criteria by clicking the green + button.
- Delete criteria by clicking the red - button.
- Click Save to create the badge.
