Your business will send us your data files to ingest every 24 hours. This means your data in EDITED will update every 24 hours. You can check the status of your data processing in EDITED Digital & Omni at any time.
The File Status icon is situated in the top control panel.
The File Status functionality allows you to see:
- The current status of any missing files.
- A status log that provides a running history of the last 30 days of missing files.
- An alert that offers access to previously sent email notifications.
How to Manage File Status Alerts
Turn on alerts for your File Status to see if:
- Any files have been missed or not sent to EDITED to ingest.
- Any files are late in being sent to EDITED, and so the data needs to be updated.
Receiving alerts on incomplete data or ingestion is critical during peak promotional periods to ensure quick resolution.
You can switch on email notifications to be notified when your data processing or ingestion has been completed.
- Click the file status icon.
- Click Processing Dashboard.
- Select the second tab, Processing Complete Notifications.
- Switch the toggle within the Email Notifications column from off to on by clicking.
Use the file status functionality to see a current list of any Late Files. This shows what files are delayed, when the delay was first alerted, and when the delay is resolved.
- Click the file status icon.
- Click Processing Dashboard.
- Select the first tab, Late Files.
Set up email notifications within the Late Files tab to notify yourself, colleagues, and management when files are late.
- Click Configure Late File Email Alerts.
- Add the email addresses of those who should be notified.
- Click Save to set up the email notification for late files.
Only EDITED admin users in your business can see the late files tab and have access to configure late file email alerts. These admins can select the team members who should have notifications of late files by adding their email addresses.
What if there are Processing Issues?
The image below is an example of what it would look like if you clicked on the File Status Icon and there were issues with late and/or missing files.
