Attributes

DynamicAction supports Customer, Product, SKU and Order attributes.  For example, to describe customers, you might import Gender, Marital Status, Loyalty Program Status, Age Group, Number of Kids, or a Custom Segment name.  For Product SKUs, you might import attributes such as Color, Size, or Material.  For Products, you might import the Markdown Position, a second category structure, or the name of the Buyer/Merchant for the product.  For Products, you might import, Payment Type, Gift (Y/N), Shipping Selection, etc. DynamicAction supports up to 50 attributes for each attribute type.  Once imported, administrators can enable the attributes for view in the opportunity lists (either as a default field or one selectable via the configuration menu) via the Admin > Attributes screen.  Once enabled, product attributes will appear in lists and dimensions that currently have a ProductID field, SKU attributes will appear in lists that currently have a SKU field, Customer attributes will appear in lists and dimensions that have a Customer ID field and Order attributes will appear in list and dimensions that have an Order ID field.

For each imported attribute, admins must enter:

  • Attribute Name: the name you want to appear for the attribute column in the opportunity lists
  • Type: enter “Field” for text values and “Metric” for numeric values
  • Display In Lists: check the box if you want it to begin appearing in opportunity lists with the next processing run.

Default Column: check the box if you want it to appear as a default column.  If enabled, but not a default column, it will be selectable via the column configuration menu on the appropriate lists.

Omnichannel
Order Line Attributes were introduced in 2017.1.  You may now alias them with more meaningful names.  Further, you may now import Selling Location attributes to further describe your stores and/or web sites.
